Protection Function: Their core function is to achieve IP65 and IP68 protection levels, protecting the internal components from dust, moisture, and water intrusion.

Magnetic Permeability and Electromagnetic Compatibility: For electromagnetic flowmeters, the housing must provide some shielding against magnetic interference.
